Surprisingly efficient and refreshingly friendly despite being extremely busy all the time. The whole staff loves animals and they’ve done a great job with my pup over the years. HIGHLY recommend a wellness plan, it will save you SO much money.

When I call they say “can I put you on a brief hold” they never pick back up. So I called several more times and without saying anything clicked me right back to on hold. Finally I got ahold of someone again after 30 minutes of trying and she wanted to put me back on hold.. I told her “no you cannot put me on hold”. I just moved to a different town and this town does the same thing that every other banfield does. Do you know how frustrating this is? I’m done with banfield I will be taking my pet and business elsewhere. My advice … hire more employees and treat the ones who pay your bills better than this. Adios!!! 0 stars

I am honestly ashamed that I used to work at banfield because of the interaction I had with this location. I live across the country from my family and my sister went to take her cat in for skin issues at this location. My sister told the associate that she only wanted to have the exam and deal with the cats skin issues but they insisted to do the wellness plan services and my sister had to call me not one but TWO more times to tell them that we brought our cat into the clinic to deal with his current problems but they just kept insisting on doing his other services from his wellness plan. These people didn’t care about our cat at all they just wanted to do the wellness plan services because I know it counts against them if they’re not done by the end of the year but my cat did NOT need any other services done that day, we just wanted to make sure my cat was okay but they couldnt care less. I’m glad I quit from my location because all these people care about are their wellness plans.

I had to experience the poor level of service for myself that was warned in these reviews. The large woman at the front desk has an attitude problem and shouldn’t be working with the public. Absolutely atrocious behavior. 🚫 Do not recommend coming here! Save yourself the headache and drive to the Dana Point location. Enjoy the beach while you wait for your pet.

Everyone here, not just at Banfield but also the PetSmart that it's attached to, is extremely friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier with the care they've given our puppy. They have care plans too, which have some great discounts included!
