The staff is wonderful, thorough, friendly, efficient. The part thats aweful is the fact that they knew my dog wouldnt be seen for at least 2 hours and they INSIST I stay there and wait EVEN AFTER signing an approival letter for treatment for anything that could go wrong. At least offer me an hour if it's ganna be 2 hr wait which ended up being 3.5 hrs. Thats not right to hold me hostage like that. NOT COOL!! I was barely allowed to go get a jamba juice really quick while they filled the prescriptions. Even that felt like we were breaking the rules. Whoever the idiot was who made up this rule should really rethink it. DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I were traveling through to Cathedral City and our tea cup Chihuahua had a stroke. We called Valley VCA emergency and they said it could take up 3 hours to see a vet. We arrived and we were treated like family ☺️they helped us with the paper work and then escorted us into a room and told us the bad news. We lost our Romeo that day but the vet and support team are outstanding and caring. They will even ship Romeo's remains back to our home town. We will miss our Romeo very much, but Valley VCA helped to easy the pain. Highly recommended. Thanks Valley VCA for all you done for us. Coco sends her love 🐶. As do we. Always, Stephen and Christopher

The worst place to bring your pet. Waited damn near 5 hours with no actual exam or diagnosis. We had an "appointment" at 3:30pm but they go by case of emergency - which is how it should be but it would have been nice for the staff to communicate that to us instead of giving us the run around. Doctor Baxter was a joke, she didn't even step away from the door to "examine" our dog. We thought our dog had a ruptured anal gland but turns out from a different hospital that it was a bad infection from a bug bite (we're not doctors and photos online seemed similar as it's in the same area) The excuse from one nurse was "she's the only doctor because we are an emergency hospital" cool we get it. Then DONT MAKE APPOINTMENTS YOU CANT SEE THEM! VCA is so money hungry it's so sad. We would have wasted $380 here, wasted our time & lost our sanity, and our poor dog would have been misdiagnosed and in pain. Instead we left because we were uncomfortable, hungry and our senior dog had been home alone for the whole time. Crazy that they're still open. BTW: Go to Palm Springs Animal Hospital off of 111 & Gene Autry in Palm Springs. They had us in and out in one hour, actually looked at our dog and charged half the price for everything. Also, it is a super nice private owned business! Dr. Henein, Angelo and Lance are the amazing angels who helped us out.

Our dog got into toxic food and we tried to call ahead to take our loved one for treatment, but sadly were turned away. This is supposed to be an emergency hospital, but was told they were booked. We were told to drive out of town for treatment, something completely unacceptable, and distressing that you cannot count on an emergency hospital to save your pets. We ended up going over 100 miles to another hospital and received immediate treatment. This hospital definitely is not run properly, and can take a few cues from a hospital that actually cares about their animals, and owners who bring them in.

This is the worst vet office in the Coachella valley. We brought our dog here. Spent 4 hours in a room. So a nurse could come in and inform us they could t see our dog. We got no diagnosis no info was given about his well being what so ever. Just a sorry can’t help bye situation. I wouldn’t ever bring my dog back here, I would also advise you to do the same.
