How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Central Vet Imaging

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Jones and his staff were amazing. They were so gentle and patient with my 9 year old dog Bella. They put her comfort and care their top priority. Dr. Jones was very thorough and gentle in explaining what he had found. He spoke to me before and after his testing of Bella's condition. He is a very nice man.

My dog gets ultrasounds every 8 weeks with Dr. Jones and they take great care of her! He is extremely thorough in his explanation and always sends a detailed write up to her regular veterinarian within 1 day. So glad to have them and this service so close!

My dog referred for heart murmur 4. After testing discovered she's got a very bad heart with many issues. I am glad to know the details of disease so she can have the best experience during her decline.

I am veterinarian and I own a veterinary clinic on the Central Coast. I have known Dr. Jones for over 12 years and he has read thousands of radiographs for me and the doctors at my practice. He has interpreted radiographs of my own pets, including my beloved German Shepherd Timber, as well as images from hundreds of my clients' pets. He is well-trained, thorough, and meticulous. I recommend him without reservation.
