I had the pleasure of bringing in two of my dogs to see Dr. Pokard and her team. The veterinary hospital is absolutely beautiful. Everything is new, modern and clean. My first visit was with my sweet senior terrier, Zoey. She’s normally very nervous but seemed more relaxed with the fear free, open concept environment. I was able to stay with her the entire visit ❤️ Dr. Pokard gave her a very thorough exam and asked me a lot about her history. It was so refreshing as my experiences elsewhere throughout the years have been quick and not super personable. My next visit was with my goofy Frenchie, River. He was on his back half the appointment and felt right at home. He loved their nurse, Kel. She was so great with him! It’s been a challenge to find a veterinary hospital who truly cares about my pets and takes the time to explain details to me. I’m so thankful to have found Dr. Pokard and to not feel rushed or unheard. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Fauna absolutely exceeded my expectations!❤️❤️ I was looking for a place that’d be more attentive to my cat, Lovie, and this place exceeded all my expectations. Beyond the appeal of their open-concept space, it was sooo refreshing to see the passion and dedication in animal care that everyone exhibited. The energy there was amazing, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable (and Lovie loooooved the attention)! Dr. Pokard is one of - if not the - most caring and supportive vets I’ve ever met. She was thorough and honest with all my questions, and I knew that she was trustworthy. She took the time to get to know Lovie and not only answered my questions but also provided a detailed breakdown of her diet plan. Also! They’re super honest and veryyyy fair when it comes to pricing ESPECIALLY for the quality of pet care you get. At other places, I’ve asked for the price of something and the vet has usually told me to ask the front office or given a very brief answer. BUT HERE!! They brought out their laptop and whipped up the price right there! I also got to meet their adorable hamster, Paddington.😌😌 Thank you, Dr. Pokard and the amazing Fauna team, for a wonderful experience! I will definitely be back again (and again lol)!

My pug son loves Dr P and her team members very much. He was very happy to see them before his surgery visit and post surgery follow up appt. He had 12 teeth and two fatty tumors removed and was being treated with a lots of TLC during his visit. Dr P was very experienced to handle both issues. My pug son’s post surgery recovery was less than a week and he was able to resume his busy daily activities. Thanks to Dr P and her team members!

Fauna is truly one of a kind! Unlike any other veterinary clinic in Orange County, they have an open-concept approach where pet owners can actually be present during treatment. Instead of the usual experience where your pet is taken to the back and you’re left waiting, here, you can see everything happening firsthand. This not only eases any worries about what’s going on but also creates a more comforting experience for pets who do better with their owners nearby. Plus, it’s such an educational experience, helping you better understand your pet’s health and care. Dr. Pokard, the owner and veterinarian, provides exceptional care—not just for the animals, but for their owners as well. She truly takes the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make sure both you and your pet feel at ease. Her dedication and passion for animal care are evident in every interaction. The entire staff is incredibly kind and attentive, making every visit a positive and reassuring experience. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and are committed to providing the best possible care. On top of that, the clinic itself is absolutely beautiful! The modern yet cozy decor makes the space feel so inviting and comfortable, which is such a nice change from the typical sterile vet office feel. There are both chairs and comfy couches where you can sit and relax with your pet, making the experience feel much more personal and stress-free. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners. If you’re looking for a vet clinic that prioritizes transparency, compassion, and top-tier care, Fauna is the place to go! Dr Pokard has been my bunnies vet for years now! Wherever she went, we followed her! I was so excited when she opened her own clinic and to take my babies there. Every appt has been 100% fear free and she’s always included me in every step she takes for my buns. Like many people, my buns are my babies and I feel 100% confident having her on their side looking out for them. Also major shout out to the techs and assistants and receptionist because they are always so happy and they love my babies as much as I do. She is a vet that listens to my concerns (and being a crazy bunny lady I always have a lot 🙂) and she wants what’s best for my buns and myself. I can’t recommend fauna enough!
