How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Felton Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The entire staff is very kind and supportive. Jennifer was the most friendly, informative and caring veterinarian I have personally ever had the pleasure of letting treat my dog. This experience has made a new friend and trustworthy customer. I cannot say enough good about the care and service I received there. Thank you all for being there and caring for my dog, Shamie!

We have been going to Felton Vet for close to 20 years now. They always somehow seem to exceed my expectations. All of the doctors I have worked with are great, and the staff is very compassionate and caring, and overall a well run amazing veterinary practice. They’ve seen our dogs and cats for approximately 20 some odd years now and recently we had to put one of our dogs down, and they came to the house and made it into, a very easy experience. We were sad to see our old guy go, but glad that we had the comfort and support from Felton Vet getting through this hard time. Felton Vet, thank you for everything, you guys are absolutely the best. My pup, Rosie, was spayed at your hospital recently. This was our first experience at your facility. The staff are all very friendly, calm, and professional. Dr Kathy was wonderful. My pup was very apprehensive going into the appointment. Dr spent time calming Rosie. She asked me lots of questions and answered mine. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Our experience was very positive. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

The friendly staff makes one feel cared about. And they care about your pets too. Dr. Condray is great. I feel like she doesn't pressure us into getting unnecessary procedures. She keeps it simple & is so caring about our cats. I would recommend this business as a good overall veterinarian.

Very friendly and helpful staff (desk and vet techs), Dr Kathy Calvert is hands-down the most knowledgeable and resourceful. She is dedicated and focused, and will take the time to explain step-by-step the treatment / surgery needed.
