The staff that took in my cat Rio, both the doctor and nurses were absolutely spectacular. The doctor was quickly flexible with the bill with my boyfriend and I, since we’re both twenties it was hard for us to figure out something quick in such an unexpected time, but we were treated with hospitality, help, and of course being able to go with my cat back home. It was the scariest situation i faced ever, and the nurses were quick to aid to him without question. They made his environment extremely safe and comfortable i believe it truly made him braver overall as a cat. I’m so happy with the hospitality VEG Elk Grove offered for us, another chance for my soul pet. Thank you truly. Rio is doing amazing, a completely different cat than he was three days ago!

The VEG team were amazing! I’ve never had such amazing treatment for our pets anywhere! Our dog Penny is antisocial and right from the first phone call to the very end of the ER visit Penny and our family were treated with the utmost care and respect! The team talked us through everything and were completely understanding of our financial situation! We were offered different treatments and were never made to feel less than because we couldn’t afford all of the tests! Penny was head over heels over her doctor and was never once aggressive towards him. This was a first ever for her! He was so great I wish he could be her regular vet. We will definitely go back if needed as I can’t say enough wonderful things about this experience. Thank you VEG team for everything!

This place is beyond amazing. The open concept is a much-needed change in vet medicine. My dog was not nervous considering she is a nervous dog, and the team all cared about my pet and me. Genuinely cared. I loved being able to see the operation going on, but I am a science nerd. Can't say enough good things about this hospital. I will never go to another hospital unless the travel time puts my animal at risk. Innovative, caring, fast and no higher than the normal fees of an ER. ( actually less with my Sr. Discount)

Thank you very much to the staff of the clinic for their help and support! We contacted them with a very sick kitten. We hoped for the best, that he could still be helped... The staff quickly rushed to our aid, doing everything possible and everything in their power. This is very valuable! But, unfortunately, he could not breathe on his own and we made a difficult decision for all of us to put him to sleep. ((( There is no one's fault here, and we do not blame anyone. Everything is in God's hands. Thank you again! Hugs to everyone.

I accidentally ran over my dog’s hind leg with my scooter when he ran in front of me. Everyone at VEG was super friendly and caring. They took great care of both if us in a timely manner. I highly recommend this practice for great emergency care of your pets.
