How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Centennial Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Doctor Tyler and his staff at Centennial hospital is phenomenal. We’ve been bringing our fur babies here for 10 years and since their first visit up until their last, Tyler has been knowledgeable and empathetic. I can always count on him to give me a call back when it was promised, and I trusted my dog’s life with him. I can tell that he cared for my dog immensely and I am sure he is the same with all the other animals that he sees. His staff at the front desk are also always so lovely and I can tell that they too cared so much for my dog. Thank you Dr Tyler and the team, for taking care of my friend.

I've been bringing my pets here for about 15 years now. Recently I visited to get my puppy fixed. The service has always been great. I had a really old pet of ours put to sleep here as well a couple of years ago. The vet was in tears with us. My dog was passing away of old age, really showed they care about the pets here. I don't expect all vet's to be tear eyed, I know my dogs situation was a little unique.

This is a tuff one, as always this place us excellent. I would normally rate it a 5 star but the dog handler was very rough in handling my dog, thus making him yelp and whine as she was dragging him into the back room.

VERY nice, clean, friendly place. I had to reschedule, and they got me in within 2 days. Dr. DeCoud is so sweet, professional and informative & Megan her assistant guided us right thru the process and was so loving with the dogs. I am not sure Coco liked it, but I know she would have been less happy of they weren't so gentle and sweet.. so she definitely wasn't upset or frightened. Thanks Centennial!

We have been with Centennial and (retired) Dr Craft since they opened. He is the best Vet ever and we just met his son Dr Tyler who seems equally awesome. The Dr.s and staff have always taken the time to explain everything and be very clear about the costs, which are very reasonable. They have cared for all 7 of my cats through the years, my 2 Aussies and guinea pigs and bunnies. We now drive about 70 miles one way to take our pets to this wonderful place where we know they will get the best care. I was just there with 2 new kittens and my old cat. When she was 3, Dr Craft senior correctly diagnosed she had cancer from her feline leukemia vaccine. He amputated her back leg and got all the cancer. She is now 15 years young and everyday has been precious with her. A subsequent vet accused me of lying when I said she could not have vaccinations. He said I had adequate up the cancer. He apologized when he researched it and found it was true but that was the end of trying someone closer. We will stay with Centennial!
