How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Central Valley Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Best there is. Excellent care and very caring staff and veterinarian. Being a coordinator for a large animal rescue for over 25 years - I have worked with MANY veterinary clinics from the bay area to Fresno and also Davis at times. I am able to say without question this is the office I take my own animal family.

Not only are their prices reasonable, but they saved my puppies' life after he swallowed an object that needed to be surgically removed. Some vets make me feel like they care more about draining my wallet than saving/helping my pet. That is not the case here. I highly recommend them to anyone needing help with their pets.

Brought our 13yr old in for a spine issues, 1st time they gave us meds. The meds worked for about 1 week, they gave us a courtesy call yesterday to have Jinx (our 13yr old) come back for a follow up. We received new meds to help her deal with her pain. This was a free visit, we only had to pay for the meds. I've never had a Vet clinic offer this service before. I was shocked! The staff is very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Vet clinic, especially for people who've had bad experiences with prior Vets.

They’ve messed up 4 times already. My cat has been traumatized by these people . Comes out with his wound bleeding and swollen when he was perfect before going in. Leg wraps are either too loose and fall off before I get home or so tight his limbs swell up ! They just don’t care . They take him to a back room and traumatize him and it takes days for him to get over whatever it is their doing to him. How does a wound looking beautiful and healing great , end up swollen and bleeding and BIGGER thsn it was before ? Don’t trust them people just don’t. My cat is not the same and I will be damned if I let them touch him again
