Had a great experience despite being there under not so great circumstances. My doggie got stung by something and was having an allergic reaction. They were able to get us in immediately and from the moment I walked in, I knew she would be in good hands. We started using Gold Country Vet (formerly Edgewood Vet) when we moved to Grass Valley in 2022. We usually see Dr. Tafoya, who is amazing! She is knowledgeable, compassionate and my dogs love her and the staff! She diagnosed one of my dogs with an ACL tear (double) and she scheduled his surgery with a ortho surgeon who visits every month. It was a huge success. They have a TPLO protocol that included post-op laser treatment, pain meds and follow ups. Jake is doing great. We have also gone in for a broken toe, skin issues, vaccines, etc. and every time they have treated my dogs with TLC.

I seldom give reviews but this vet clinic has beyond impressed me. They deeply cared for her after she got injured and they offered constant support through the process to make sure her healing process was comfortable and going correctly. I’m so grateful to this vet clinic for all their help, knowledge, and kindness! I will take all animals here indefinitely. Also, their prices are reasonable for the amount of knowledge and help you receive. Thank you!

We had a very good experience with our elderly Chihuahua here. The vet was very understanding and really cares about the animals. Their prices for testing and medications were much lower then other vets we had been to. They are our new permanent vet.

Great veterinarian and highly recommend!! Dr. Wallace healed up our kitty, provided great knowledge to help us make an informed decision on the path to help our furry feline. Prices were also very reasonable!!
