How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Catalina Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I've driven by this place for years and never brought any of my pets here. Today was our first visit and I can't say enough good things about this vet office. Every single staff member I encountered was just top notch. Every person was so sweet to my dog and you could tell she was very comfortable and happy to be there and be handled by the staff. The office is clean, comfortable, and a lot bigger than it looks from the street. Weeks before my visit I called to get a quote for what I needed. The receptionist was so kind and patient and gave me all of the info I needed. The pricing ended up being better than quoted. The cost of an exam, nail trim, and allergy shot for a 70lb dog was very reasonable. Like, shockingly reasonable. No prices were gouged, they have a crew of really solid humans working there, and my dog says the place in its entirety passes the vibe check...and for that they will continue to get my business. My only regret is I wish we would've come sooner.

The staff here is amazing! Very kind and attentive. I can tell they love their job and are here to take care of all of the animals needs. I’ve been coming here for over 17 years. I’m now living in Mesa and it’s still worth the drive for me.

I take all 3 of my dogs here. I love Brianna at the front desk. She has such a beautiful soul, she is warm and welcoming when you go in. She just sets the tone for the rest of your visit ❤️

Might be good with cats and small dogs, but not my German Shepherd. Dr Avi was great with him, but all new staff 4 years later. My dog was scared... Avi took control...was on the floor sharing treats... No one there will do that now. Huxton reacted to their fear!!! We got nowhere for the second time here. Need to find someplace that has a good vet!
