Dr Wingo and staff took good care of my 15 YO mini poodle mix a year ago this month. My poor pup had something in his turbinate which destroyed bone. This was found when I took Buddy in for a cleaning as he was clearly having issues and I knew it was dental. It was rough time for Buddy, but they have an anesthesiologist who kept my senior dog safe. Buddy is now about a year post op and even with the loss of upper fangs and turbinate reconstruction he is finally free of face pain. I wish I had come here first many cleanings ago. This Dr is a skilled surgeon and trains others. It’s worth the drive if you have a senior dog or need something serious done. I later brought my other dog 17 YO mini poodle in and fortunately they just needed only a cleaning. Dr Wingo saved Buddy’s life. The infection in his turbinate destroyed his upper teeth, and would have taken him over the rainbow bridge had he not had this surgery. Buddy is now 16 YO and plays again and eats with a big appetite, of course we are now on canned food only the rest of his life as his upper front teeth are gone. He is all healed and I have my loving pup with me.

If I could give Carefree Dentistry and Oral Surgery 10 stars I would! My 12-year-old Chiweenie needed multiple dental extractions and a deep cleaning, which I kept putting off due to her age and mitral valve disease. This facility put me at ease, due to having an anesthesiologist who is trained in putting medically compromised patients under. Dr. Jucan and her team were amazing and took care of my girl like she was family from pre-op to post-op. Karen at the front desk knew I was anxious about the anesthesia, so she kept me updated the entire time she was under and is so kind. I would highly recommend this facility, especially if you are hesitant to put your pet under anesthesia for dental work, because they will be in the best hands. After one week post-extractions, Lola was back to her normal self and pain free, thanks to Dr. Jucan!

There are no words strong enough to express the depth of our gratitude for Carefree Dentistry and Oral Surgery for Animals and the extraordinary Dr. Schamberger. Our sweet Canela, who has been with us for 13+ beautiful years, was tragically injured by someone over our fence breaking her little nose and face and cutting her mouth. The pain, fear, and helplessness we felt in that moment were overwhelming—but Carefree gave us some hope of recovery. From the moment we walked in, the compassion and professionalism of the entire team brought us a sense of hope we didn’t think was possible in such a traumatic time. The Doctor and staff treated our dog with such tenderness and urgency, and they explained everything with patience and empathy. Thanks to their expert care and tireless dedication, our sweet girl is now healing, and although she’s going to need a 2nd surgery, we trust Carefree to provide the best care. We know her age and the nature of her injuries has made this an incredibly delicate situation, but they’ve treated her with the same importance and love they would give their own pet. We will never forget what you’ve done for Canela. Thank you, Dr. Schamberger, and thank you to everyone at Carefree for helping us through one of the hardest experiences and we can’t forget sweet Havoc and Chaos. You truly gave us more time with our girl—and that gift is priceless.🤍🐾

I can’t compliment this specialty office enough. I had an emergency dental issue with my puppy only 12 weeks old and every dental clinic within 30 miles was booking 3-4 months out. I was panicked and they got me in right away. The staff was incredibly professional, caring, and thorough. The doctor was one of the best I have ever had. She explained everything - took all the time we needed to answer questions. After leaving they stayed in touch through the day for updates as it was a tough surgery for such a baby puppy. They contacted me multiple times for updates and kept me informed on her progress. I would absolutely recommend them for dental clinic for animals - the experience could not have been any better. Perfection!! Thank you so much for taking care and helping my poor fur baby.
