How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Lyon Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I absolutely adore Dr. Lyons he is so compassionate about animals. Some pretty scary stuff can happen when you end up at the vet office; I have been in with my dogs for routine check ups, I have had to have stitches, staples, and medicine for other things for my pets. They are always so awesome about giving you options or resolving issues that can be taken care of at home and helping make that judgment call on when to bring your animal in. Every time I go for one of my animals he is always calm during any visit and reassuring when I was worried! Also the staff is usually pretty pleasant; this late visit I was really pleased with!! They even called me the next day to check on my dog and she was doing so much better!! I would recommend Dr. Lyons to anyone!! As soon as you go you’ll understand why.

Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We took a puppy we'd found in to get checked, and they've been taking wonderful care of him on each visit. He has a fungal infection they've been treating and they're so sweet to him. Very thankful I found them!

Best vet around. Always willing to work with you to get your animal seen! Always amazing customer service and all of the techs and front desk ladies are amazing. The veterinarian himself is always great and will take the time to talk to you about any concerns!

Very nice. Was out of town and needed stitches removed on my dog's foot. They got me in that day and the bill was far less than it should have been.
