I use to recommend this vet until today. I took my dog in on Friday because she was having problems walking. Did I wait a little longer than I should have? Probably. Come to find out my 8 yr old German shepherd had a slipped disk on her spine. Which has caused her a lot of pain and discomfort. It has kept her from eating and drinking like she normally would. So she did have a significant amount of weight loss. After $300 and getting her some medicine to help the healing process. Dr. Owens had the nerve to call my local animal shelter and have them do a welfare check on my dog. For Dr. Owens to judge my morality and integrity offends me very much so. I have always taken care of my pets. They have never missed a meal. I will not be taking my fur babies back to that clinic.

Had an issue with one of our dogs and took her here and honestly received good care from what I know. One visit was $300. And I really didn’t have a problem with that either considering what was wrong with her. My problem is that after I picked up my dog, my local animal control office was notified that I don’t feed my animals and came to do a “welfare check” to make sure we are taking care of our animals. They offered to assist with “putting her down” if we needed help with that. So, the solution to taking care of our dog is killing her? I won’t be back. I will not spend my money somewhere that questions my morality and integrity. Poor showing folks. Do better.

Got my cats fixed here and they were extremely friendly and courteous! Also very affordable too! Highly recommend!

I am beyond grateful for the team at Cato! I have used them since I moved to Jonesboro in 2015, will not use anyone else…. Thank you so much Cato Pet hospital, you have given me nothing but peace of mind when it comes to my animals! Affordable and Understanding, along with a great staff!

I’ve been using Cato for my puppy, Ace. They have always been super friendly and answer all my questions and concerns. They are very fairly priced and always have the best interest in mind for my dog. Dr.Owens and her staff are amazing 🙌🏻 highly recommend Cato Pet Hospital!!
