Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Our 1 year old dog Angel broke her leg while we were playing. After calling all over, our vet Dr Cato told us to go here to Urgent Care in Heber. We had no idea this was a place until yesterday. This team is amazing. They took us in, evaluated our girl, have us the rundown of treatments and costs, then took the best care ever of our girl. The prices for an emergency visit are reasonable considering other places want like $1200 just to walk in the door and evaluate your pet. We couldn't be happier with the care Dr Ashley and her staff gave her, and us for that matter. They were open and honest about every step they were taking, why they were taking it, and the possible outcomes. They had no problems answering my 1000 questions either. Knowing they are there is a godsend as there are no emergency vets anywhere close to where we live. Thanks again to Dr Ashley and her crew for taking such good care of our girl. I would give more than five 🌟 if I could.

Took my cat in with an injured leg. Staff was very pleasant. They did not try to do a lot unneeded tests like xrays. The most amazing thing I experienced was what it cost me. Next to nothing in my opinion. I have been to a lot of after hour vet clinics and never got out of them without costing at least several hundred dollars. I just wish they were full time.

I have mixed feelings about this vet clinic -- and all are deserved, if not slightly biased. My senior dog went into a seizure she never came out of. Sixteen years of loving and holding my precious baby came down to being rushed out of a vet clinic because they were closing. That aside, I called and let them know we were on our way, what was happening, and that we were x amount of time out. They assured us they were open, available, and ready. We arrive at 8-ish pm, and are not even SPOKEN to until close to 10. At this point, I know in my heart that the damage has been done and we'll have to let her go, even if I don't want to admit it. The vet there? Fantastic. She sat on the floor and pet my babies and told me straight that euthanasia would not be the wrong option here, because they hadn't been able to pull her out of her seizure with several injections -- which should have happened before the two hours there mark. One of the other vet techs -- also fantastic. She was super nice, was there for the animals, and hands down the nicest person I've ever met at a vet clinic. The third tech -- the one who came to get our information and payment for the visit, etc -- NO BUSINESS BEING THERE. Rude as hell. I'd 100% recommend this clinic, but some of the techs need to be taught bedside manners. And the pet cremation service they use has been a bit of a hassle to deal with due to misspellings and them trying to charge for things *again*. I may be biased because this dog was my *everything* since I cannot have kids, but I feel like the rude tech should be dealt with, and they should definitely have someone on staff taking patients in as they come instead of two plus hours after arrival. Just be on your toes when you come here. Otherwise, great place, good staff, and professional setting.

Brought our senior Great Dane in for care regarding her uncontrollable seizures and declining health. These ladies helped us come to a decision that was best for our dog. Very caring and and compassionate! Highly recommend for urgent pet needs

Veterinary Urgent Care of Heber Springs really helped me out. They were so kind to me during an awful emergency. I’m grateful to have an emergency office open on weekends so close to home. I’m happy to give them my business because they have proven to me that they deserve it. I couldn't have asked for better compassion than what Andrea and Dr. Ashley gave to me.
