How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Arkansas Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

It is a very pleasant place its always clean and the staff is always caring. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and truly cares about about your fur babies. I have recommended this clinic to my neighbor recently with her German Shepherd and she had nothing but good things to say. I have been with this clinic for over 15 years and my Dogs have lived a long life because of the care. I truly recommend this place!!!!!

Today was our first visit with Dr Hittner and staff. They did not disappoint. Professional. Caring. Knowledgeable. And took the time to explain everything to us about our fur baby. We will now make this our veterinary home. The staff was excellent and caring. Thank you so much! I definitely will recommend Dr. Hittner.

Our first time going to the clinic in an emergency situation, Ella the receptionist was so kind and spoke to us with compassion and understanding for our needs over the phone. She referred to our Marty as our baby as we do too! Dr. Hittner was a first class act! We were grateful for the services that we received and we be a return customer!

Very good experience. Facilities and staff met expectations and allowed me to fill paperwork in the room so I could put my cat down and free up my hands. Vet exceeded expectations, extremely knowledgeable and honest, walked me through his diagnostic logic, didn't try to sell me on unnecessary blood work, made a sensible suggestion to try a relatively affordable anti-inflammatory. Prices were standard, I believe. I would recommend this vet.
