How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Countryside Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Experience

Ask whether the clinic has experience treating your specific type of pet, since care can vary between dogs, cats, and pocket pets.

Emergency Care Procedures

It’s helpful to understand how the clinic handles after-hours emergencies, including whether they provide emergency services or refer to nearby emergency hospitals.

Communication Preferences

We waited(almost a yr) to post our review because we could NOT believe how nice they were during our first few visits, we were sure it was a fluke(no business can be these nice). Here we are now, about a year later, our (1yr old corgi/7yr old G. Pyrenees/12yr old beagle) girls could not be in better hands. They have proof time after time again that they are here to make sure your babies are as healthy as possible and living their best lives. They are the absolute best!!!

We love this place. We board our 6 year old RottieShepard mix here whenever we travel. They take really good care of the animals, and they will even give them a bath before going home for a small additional charge. We even took him here for an emergency appointment after he got sick at another boarding facility. They were able to get our fur baby healthy again, and we haven't had any issues since we started boarding him here. They have 3 different types of accommodations for your pet. Indoor run, indoor/outdoor run, and a suite, which is the largest "room" that can accommodate up to 2 pets if needed. I highly recommend checking them out they are awesome and reasonably priced. They also have doggie day care.

Decent price. Been going whenever my dogs need yearly shots. Do got all dog Canine DNA tested. All my dogs are American Staffordshire Terriers. Can register my pups as ESA. That's important to me.
