How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Florence Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Bingham and his assistants were awesome, genuinely interested in my dog and her story, and they did everything very lovingly! I only gave 3 stars for the facilities. There is very little space, especially in the waiting area, which means the animals have to sit very close together. That's stressful. Everything seems very tight.

I had to give my sweet cat 🐈 Huskie to them because cause she couldn't deliver her babies and they took GREAT care of her and found her a good home. Thank you everyone for your outstanding care.💯💯💯❣️❣️❣️

I am giving two stars, because while we were once quite satisfied with Dr Bingham and his staff, that was no longer the case as of 2020, and we have since switched veterinary practices. In 2017, our cat got bitten by a snake (we think) and lost his left eye in addition to a large amount of facial tissue. Dr Bingham worked tirelessly to save our cat's life. We couldn't have been more pleased. However, three years later, that same cat was diagnosed with FeLV and Dr Bingham recommended immediate euthanasia. "Its a death sentence," he said. We sought a second opinion, in the city of Florence, and that cat whose life he wanted to end has lived healthy for the past three years. I believe Dr Bingham is a good vet for the things where the answers are cut-and-dry. For deeper issues and things that require more education, I recommend you take your pets elsewhere.

My family’s dogs as well as my dog go here, and they are so sweet every time. We’ve boarded our dogs here as well and all of them have done super well.

I love Dr B and his staff. They take such good care of my fur babies. I wouldn't trust them with anyone else.
