How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Berry Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I took my pet to Berry’s the other day to have a simple vet visit and the girl up front was great. She was the only one I saw up there at the time answering the phone, trying to get other people in with their pets. Then had to wait for a person to even call me back into the room but the receptionist had to do it. Where is the staff at? heard talking and laughing but nobody came In my room for a while. Front staff kept apologizing for the wait which I understand because of the sign with the “1 doctor here.” Dr. Moore was amazing and look thoroughly at my pet. But regardless what if my pet was in critical condition and the staff was sitting in the back laughing

I am from out of town. Took me as a walk-in. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant. Short wait although I was there early which other reviews had stated is better for a timely visit. Pleasantly surprised at the most reasonable price I've ever encountered as a walk-in. Treated my fur baby gently and throughly. Cannot say enough about how wonderful the entire experience was. Thank you Berry Animal!!! Wish there were more like you!!!!!

Berry Animal Clinic saved my dog’s life. I have an 11 year old toy poodle whom had never been spayed. It’s my boyfriend’s childhood dog that we rehabilitated after some mistreatment by his family. She was diagnosed in February with congestive heart failure and in May started having severe vaginal discharge. I took her for an exam and they pulled bloodwork and determined she had pyometra. She was booked on a Tuesday (5th) for surgery on Friday (15th). On Thursday (7th) she began to groan while moving accompanied by some more swelling of her abdomen. I called at 8 AM and they made time for a same day emergency spay. When they opened her up, they determined she had a massive tumor on her ovaries which kickstarted her pyometra. They successfully removed everything and saved her life. The surgery only cost me $450 when 3 other vets quoted me $2500+. I will never ever use another vet due to the prompt service and pure kindness that we have received at Berry Animal Clinic. Even if it is a drive for you, it is 100% worth it. Always spay/neuter your animals when they are younger!!

Everyone at Berry is so compassionate. We had to say goodbye to our Murphy pup on Friday and the care they extended to him was more than we could have expected. They treated us like we were the only ones there and that Murphy was the only pup that mattered. This is the best experience we’ve ever had with a vet.
