This review is long overdue! I cannot say enough great things about this vet hospital. I feel that they gave me another 14 months that I wouldn’t have otherwise had with my sweet baby. It was truly an answer to prayer that we found this clinic- affordable, compassionate, knowledgable, and just all around pleasant to interact with! I live in Huntsville, but can tell you that all the drives were worth it though some of them were more emotional than others. Dr Ellenburg identified and treated a horrible autoimmune condition called Pemphigus Vulgaris as well as Cushings Disease in my 11 year old Griffin (Shih-Tzu). When he felt it was out of his hands, he referred him to another specialist that was wonderful. Griffin ultimately had to be put down due to seizures, but the day he passed away I had received a voicemail from this other specialist that Griffin was making a full recovery and his blood work was all back in the normal range. I consider that a “win” for my little fighter! Dr Ellenburg and his staff worked hard to keep Griffin on the Earth with me as long as possible and I and my family are forever grateful. Don’t walk…RUN to Westside Vet in Arab. 🐶 🦋 🌈

Just got back from taking my little pom, Koda for a visit. He's not been feeling well, and I was very concerned. It's his first visit at this vet and they were so gracious and sweet to him (and me). Everyone so courteous and nice.

My dog needed emergency help and they did not hesitate to meet me after hours to address the situation, they are extremely professional and very gentle with my dog, also followed up the next day when they were closed to check on him, the only place I will take my dog

I have been using Westside for over 10 years. They are always very helpful and will get what you need done to your animals. If you have a problem with a pet I suggest you bring them here. Very friendly staff, great with animals. I have a rednose pitbull named Star! They treat her so well when she comes if like she doesn't want to leave, so trust me when I say they know what they are doing here. They do almost all animals from dogs, cats, cows, horse, and many more so if you are looking for a great animal doctor.. please visit them and tell them that you were referred by Adam Graham.
