I’ve used this facility for over 10 years. It was a family atmosphere and I felt they loved my animals. I’ve felt the past few visits unappreciated by me and the care my animals received. Looking for a new vet today. T

They refused to give me medicine my dog needed. We had just gotten test results from our vet in Phenix City, and we are staying in Wedowee. I asked them to call our vet. They refused. It is a holiday weekend. They just wanted my money and don't care about our pet. She was not with us.

I want to highlight the kindness that was shown by this wonderful VCA. I am visiting from Sugar Land,Tx to explore my Moms hometown. As this was an emotional trip I was driving around and a stray black lab mix ran up to my car when I was at a stop sign by the Lagarde Apartments.. With no choice but to take this beautiful dog and try to find the owner I walked around to only find a neighbor who offered a leash but no idea who could be the owner. I tried calling Animal Control of Anniston to see if they could offer recommendations and a rescue place (number didn’t work)) with fear of this girl being put down… I found this VCA and came in to see if they could scan for a chip(no chip). Explaining the situation to the most wonderful woman at the desk ( sorry I don’t have a name) she offered to keep her and find her a home. It was such an act of kindness as I couldn’t keep her... I could not recommend them enough. This is a place that has heart and compassion when there seems to be less around .. thank you 🙏🏻 thank you for helping Spunk🩷

AVOID THE VCA CARE CLUB AT ALL COSTS! It is a total rip-off that is impossible to get out of. We bought a puppy last May. We had one round of vaccinations. The dog was way to energetic for me and my wife to handle so we gave him to a really nice family that loves him. But now we can't cancel the VCA Care Club. The Care Club people are totally rude and unhelpful. Their attitude is, "well you signed it" regardless of the services actually used or the circumstances. The VCA vets office in Anniston won't call us back to try and resolve it. It's the nightmare you want to avoid - automatic payments you can't stop.
