We had to bring our old kitty Simon in as he had a inch and a half 2 inch long tumor, growing off the side of his ear, his face. They were so wonderful with our kitty. And the doctor did such an incredible job there is no scar to even be able to notice. When he took the tumor off, he says he thinks he got it all. Well he did and our kitty is amazing. We love Kachemak Bay Animal Hospital.

He brought our very sick pup back to health. It was quick, efficient and we were on our way. As for some of the other reviews I didn’t see any lack of kindness or empathy. They were so kind and very competent. I would highly recommend the kachemak Bay Animal hospital

I was so relieved when I was able to get an appointment for my dog, for what appeared to be a severe ear infection. He was with a boarder for the first time in his life and they drove through a heavy snow storm to get him there. Kachemak Bay Animal Hospital was able to make the appointment for two days after my phone call to them. I would've waited ten days for the other veterinary clinic in town. The boarder showed up on time, only to be told that my appointment wasn't on the schedule! They did nothing, except make another appointment 5 days later. My much loved companion died 60 hours later while I was away from him for the first time! To my calculations, an antibiotic could've had 48 hours to work it's magic and possibly save him. The lessen here, beyond Homer veterinary clinics being NO help to an animal in distress, is that EVERY job is important. To the person who scheduled the appointment and took my information...every phone call is important, your duty as the scheduler is important, the hearts and lives of the people AND pets you make contact with are important...it matters SO much! Do your job better! The grief is real and I am left completely brokenhearted. My faith in both veterinary clinics in Homer is destroyed. Not due to the care from the veterinarians, but the lousy efforts of the scheduling staff at both of these clinics. Compassionate care... maybe, if you can get it. We have only received suffering for my pet and heartbreak for me.

The entire staff is very competent, from Sarah at the front desk to Dr. Zack in the back. They stayed late hours and always are available for follow ups. They saved my dogs life and I trust the work they do.

Doctor Zak is wonderful. He charges reasonable rates, answers questions and calls promptly and has a wonderful staff that is knowledgeable and helpful. Great atmosphere. Only vet in town I trust. Highly recommend.
