The staff was very engaged and caring for our Bentley. He was in bad shape and the diagnosis came back as diabetes and ketosis. He needed several days in hospital. It was expensive of course, we knew that, but good old Bentley started responding right away thanks to the good care and came home earlier than expected. We received the appropriate credit for days not required. He's been getting so much better and has already been to a new regular vet. We have him on an improved regime and are looking forward to many more years with our little sonny. Thanks again to Dr. Stanley and all the folks! Definitely go there if you have a pet emergency. They always seem to happen on weekends, don't they? Just like toothaches.

On 4th of July I brought in a kitten that was very sick and others of her litter had passed away. The vet told us we either had to hospitalize her which she said would likely add up to around $4000 and she was still likely to not make it or we could euthanize her. I was with my sister and neither of us had nearly enough money to hospitalize her, we told her we would just take the kitten home since we didn't want to euthanize her. She kept encouraging us to euthanize her since she would just "go home , suffer , and die". I repeatedly asked her if she had any idea of what could be wrong with her and she said she didn't. It threw me off that she was so sure the kitten would die without knowing what was wrong. We took the kitten home regardless and she was fine within a few days. She is now an indoor kitten, super sweet and playful. I am disappointed to know that she wouldn't be here if we would have listened to the vets advice.

The staff did a wonderful job taking care of my dog after he was bitten by a copperhead. They explained what needed to be done, what may need to be done, and what the cost was going to be. My dog is old, cranky, and doesn’t like people but the staff never hesitated to take care of him and get him back home to us. Thank you for all that you did.

Having to say good-bye to our Ellie Mama was one of the hardest decisions we had to make. Dr. Pfent came to our home, answered our questions and assured us we were doing what was best of our Ellie Belly. She sat with us while Ellie enjoyed chocolate for the first time and gave us all the time we needed to kiss that sweet face one last time. I cannot say enough good things about her bedside manner and compassion.

The staff was very polite and really understanding. They diagnosed my dog and treated him quickly and efficiently. It was an emergency situation so it was very scary. They communicated that he was their priority patient at that moment and really worked to make us feel comfortable in a very stress filled experience. They gave us good discharge information and explained the medications. My pup is recovering well and I would definitely go back.
