How to Save Money at All4Pets Hospital

Schedule Regular Vet Visits

One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.

Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions

Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.

Pet Insurance

Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Getting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask

Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:

Tell me about your experience with [pet type].

Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.

How do you handle emergencies?

You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.

How do you communicate with pet owners?

Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.

Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?

Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.

Do you have any questions for me about my pet?

This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.

Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?

Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.

Our pup Rocco went through a traumatic incident at 10 weeks olds. Through panic we initially rushed him to another vet, close to our home, that gave us very little hope that he would make it through. We then decided to bring him here, to All4Pets, after a refer and a phone call letting us know they had everything we needed for his condition to help him. Not only did they give us much more hope, right away, but they took AMAZING care of him and tried to keep costs to a minimum to help. They immediately took him back to an oxygen chamber and the doctor made it a quick priority to see him and read the info/images sent to them from the other vet before going into an emergency surgery. That alone made us feel like his health was a priority here. The twice daily updates during the 3 nights/days he was there was such a relief to get. I loved the phone calls from the doctors on shift immediately starting with “We just absolutely love him”. I was also able to call whenever I wanted to or even come in just to see him and how he was doing, that really made me feel like he was in a good place here. The doctors and team were so knowledgeable, caring and straight forward and I can’t thank them enough. Now our boy is almost 5 months old and thriving. I am very grateful for this facility and their team, they quite literally saved his life. Thank you all so much for everything you all did for our pup.

It's a pleasant place for your furry friend. They serve them quickly and with great care. My dog had an emergency with her bleeding paw, and she came out quite well. They have a spacious, comfortable waiting room with snacks for pets and owners. The most important thing is that they are open 24 hours a day. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can't express how much this place and these people mean to me now. Last month I had taken my Chloe into an urgent care and in the time we were there she went into distress and we were referred to All4pets. I rushed her to the hospital. When we arrived she had a temp of 106 and wasn't getting enough oxygen, she was rushed to the back and were able to get her stable. Chloe spent a fews days in the hospital getting the treatment she needed. I was put at ease by the staff. They were all very friendly, kind, knowledgeable. I was able to call at any hour to check in or if I had a question or if I was worried about Chloe in the middle of the night I could go see her and love on her. After a few days Chloe was ready to come home and begin her healing. Im happy to say she is doing so well after all that she went through. All the thanks and love to All4pets

Brought my dog here with a gash in his neck and needed stitches. I had an amazing experience all around. The front desk girls were so sweet and the tech was very nice. The vet was also pleasant. They followed up also to check on my pup. I had gone to a different emergency vet a year prior (off good homes rd) and had a horrible experience so this was such a breathe of fresh air. The hospital itself was also very clean and nice. Happy that I found this place for any future needs!

4/27/25 Had to bring my rottie in for an emergency. Everyone working that day was compassionate and understanding through the whole process. Unfortunately we ended up putting him down after many conversations with the vet. Hardest thing I have ever had to do. They walked us through how the whole process worked. They set us up in a room and we got to say our last goodbyes to our sweet baby boy. I’m so grateful for the caring attitudes they had for us fur baby owners.
