I have been a client of this veterinary practice for the past 8-9 years, and I cannot say enough good things about the care they have provided for my dogs throughout every stage of their lives. From routine nail trims to managing congestive heart failure, dental procedures, and even helping us through the heartbreaking experience of saying goodbye, the entire team has consistently shown compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for both pets and their owners. One thing that stands out is the longevity of the staff. It speaks volumes about the culture of the practice and provides a level of comfort and familiarity that is hard to find. Debbie at the front desk is exceptional—always welcoming, kind, and helpful. There are also the veterinary technicians whose names I unfortunately cannot recall, but they each possess the perfect bedside manner for every situation. Their compassion, patience, and ability to put both pets and owners at ease never go unnoticed. Both doctors, Dr. G. & Dr. Hendry, bring their own unique strengths and expertise to the practice, and I have always felt confident in the care and recommendations they provide. They take the time to explain treatment options and truly prioritize the well-being of their patients. As for pricing, veterinary care is never inexpensive, but I believe most pet owners understand that quality care comes at a cost. My focus has always been on ensuring my dogs receive the treatment they need, and this team has consistently delivered outstanding care. I am incredibly grateful for everything this practice has done for my family over the years and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team that combines medical excellence with genuine compassion.

We have a pack of Aussies and have for almost a decade... and have been with HOFAH for most of that time. We went looking for another vet that was perhaps a little bit closer to where we live, but came back here after trying out a few. Here's the reason... they CARE at HOFAH. Growing up I had a small farm town vet that we used and he CARED. I wanted that same feeling in this community that I live in now... and this place delivers. The Heart at the front of their name is evident in their work. Recently one of our dogs became gravely ill. 2 other vets recommended that we let him go. (and we ONLY visited them on recommendation from the Dr at HOFAH to see if we could have treatment NOT available at HOFAH or at a reduced cost) ONLY HOFAH cared enough to continue to help us find a solution. And he's made an incredible recovery. They also took not just the well being of our PET into consideration, but also the HUMAN aspect, our feelings AND our financials. Love this place and happy to call them OUR Vet.

Excellent, Care given to our dog Honey, she is taking her antibiotic medication post surgery of one tooth removal and cleaning of her teeth on January 15, 2026. Other medication given times once for discomfort eating her regular food, treats and drinking her water without any problem! she is a happy sweet heart! God Bless to all that took care of our little baby Honey!

Nice place and super friendly staff. Ladies at the front desk worked quick and were very kind. I recently took my cat in for an ultrasound and xray. It was a fast and affordable visit. Dr. Gerena took great care of my cat, she was very sweet and caring. Even the vet assistant was kind and professional. I would 100% recommend for anyone who wants great service at an amazing price. The staff here is amazing! Props to such a well organized and caring place.😊

I have been coming here for a couple of years now and I just want to say how amazing the people that work here. They have helped and cared for my cats immensely. They have showed compassion and care towards me and my fur babies. Thank you, heart of florida animal hospital.
