VEG ER for Pets

We cannot thank Dr. Horwitz and the entire staff at VEG for their professional and caring attitude with our Blue-Fronted Amazon Bella during an extremely frightening experience with avocado toxicity! They handled her with such love and gentleness and made sure we were well-informed and comfortable during our stay. We recommend everyone who has an emergency to visit this ER when there is a need! We will certainly go back if we ever have another such need! Thank you all so very much! Bella is very precious to us, and we are filled with blessings and gratitude!

I conducted an online search for a nearby emergency dog vet and discovered VEG ER for Pets in Palm Desert. I was impressed that they operate on a 24/7 basis. Prior to arrival, I contacted them in advance and completed an online questionnaire. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Medical Director Dr. Keith Mihangky and Assistant Vet Sarah, who warmly welcomed my Paloma and me. The office features an open concept design, providing a transparent view of each step in the process. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to VEG ER in Palm Desert for their exceptional service and care.

It was my first time seeing an Animal ER hospital! It was like walking on a set of medical show. I barely walked fully in the spot and was immediately meet with help with no hesitation. A couple of women asset the situation beforehand but afterwards I continued to chat about my lover boy, Billie Billiams Billington Billiard Holden. He is a chonky black cat. Jeff Li was so accommodating, understanding, and willing to answer any of my questions. Expensive as hell! But I would do it all over again for my mans 💕 FYI: he forgot he was clumpy, scaled a tall wood fence and caught is ankle in between the wood. He was dangling from the fence by the ankle like a corner store plastic bag with empty forty in it.

The staff was incredibly helpful and immediately assessed and cared for our cat while we rushed in at 11pm with a foot injury. Everyone was so calm, caring, but quick to do what is needed and we are so thankful to have this new ER close by. Thank you so much for helping our baby!

My husband and I were panicking about the potential loss of our beloved Rico. When we entered the facility, we were terrified about the outcome of our visit. We were met with positive inquiries about our little dogs health history as they swept in to treat what was before them. Pertinent questions were asked, my health information was asked, along with how I've managed his Healthcare prior to this visit. I was treated as an equal, listened to intently and I truly believed that this visit was going to be a group effort. I am in no way a veterinary professional, but I completely felt heard, understood and appreciated as a pet parent. You are so lucky to have the entire crew of VEG Palm Desert, and that has been validated by Rico's primary Vet, Dr. Reed of VCA, Rancho Mirage. We have been patients for 13 years and are so very happy that we have VEG to turn to in any emergency situation. Thank you, Thank you very much. Our little guy seems to be doing well. We ate beyond grateful.
