My puppy Sammy gets into everything and has quite a few vet visits. Embrace has promptly reviewed and paid my claims with no issues. Very happy with the service.

We have had Embrace insurance for many years now for our two dogs. Over the years, we have had a number of claims, all paid promptly. This year, our flat-coated retriever developed malignant histiocytosis, a nasty cancer that has required several rounds of chemotherapy. All of our claims have been addressed promptly and the communication has been excellent. Without insurance, we would be devastated. We chose Embrace specifically because they covered cancers like histiocytosis, which flatcoats are unfortunately prone to acquire. We are dealing with the stress of a cancer that is always fatal; it has been such a relief not to have to worry about the vet bills. Thank you, Embrace.

I purchased basic insurance on my Neapolitan Mastiff, knowing from past experience it would be worth the piece of mind. His first TPLO surgery was not covered due to time of policy, however the 2nd one was. Thankfully I ended up with 50% coverage the 2nd time around. Thanks Pets Best!

We got Snoopy (Basset Hound) at 6 weeks of age. Having lost 4 other pets to cancer over the last 15 years, we knew we had to do our very best with this little sweetie who had already wrapped himself around our two little girls fingers. In my years and years of being a devoted pet owner, I have learned that pets don't give you any warning or are selective of their days of need. Without fail, my pets had always in the past picked the weekend or a holiday to come down with an emergency. So I checked out a few pet insurance companies and I really liked the guarantees with Healthy Paws. I had even called them to confirm, God forbid, cancer ever strike our Basset, that he would be covered. There were no exclusions! Over the past 2 months, Snoopy, now 2 years, had 2 emergencies. One was life threatening "bloat". Not only was our vet waiting for us as we drove up before their office opened, they faxed in my insurance claim directly after. Within 2 days I got confirmation from Healthy Paws that my claim was being processed. My reimbursement check was in my mailbox the very next day! My claim was for $338 and they reimbursed me for $304!!! I am going to take that check and open up a bank account just for Snoopy and will continue to fund that account every time I am reimbursed so the money I need at the time of an incident will never come directly out of my pocket. Vinny is an indoor cat but slipped out and in 20 minutes had a fight with a stray cat that hangs around. He developed an abscess on his cheek that required suture and drainage. We had signed up with Healthy Paws around 4 - 5 months prior to the incident, so this was our first claim. We were pleasantly astonished at the prompt response to our claim, the helpful assistance via email and empathetic approach to the incident. Within the week we received a check back. We are impressed, extremely happy and would readily recommend Healthy Paws to friends and family.

Having a Wellness component in my Cairn Terrier's health insurance is kind of like having a savings account in that you know you will spend that much every year. In Skye's case we have $200 in wellness. Last year we used it to pay for office visits and flea supplies. This year it went towards Skye's spaying. Their service has improved greatly since being going through ownership transition. This claim was payed within a week and a half of her operation.We had an ex-ray earlier this year because Skye ate something that caused gastric upset. She had no obstructions. The $250 charge was applied to Skye's deductible so I can't really comment on payment on claims from major illnesses, knock on wood.

A few months after purchasing insurance on our 7year old mutt, he was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. I'm so happy that Embrace covers his medications (90%) and they are very speedy in reimbursing us. Embrace representatives are also very efficient in contacting us when needed.
