Best Service Possible
My yellow lab puppy got into some food she shouldn't have and I had to rush her to the vet after I realized she put on some weight overnight. It ended up that she gained six pounds in one day and surgery was a possibility. Luckily she didn't need surgery but between tests, x-rays, specialists, and medications it was nearly a $1,000 day.
Being my first claim Healthy Paws walked me through the entire process and even checked up with me twice afterwards to see how my dog was doing. I got a check in the mail 3 days after I submitted my paperwork. Everyone I have dealt with at Healthy Paws has been friendly, helpful, and sincere. If only my TV, internet, and cell phone companies had customer service like this my life would be much easier.

Zoe ingested a popsicle stick
Zoe took a Popsicle from one of the children, andswallowed it stick and all. She got diarrhea and was throwing up. Our vet was closed so we took her to emergency. She had x-ray's and they said it should pass. We are very pleased that it did and she is fine. Also supprised that the event was mostly covered. Trupanion covered 90% of all fees.

Peace of Mind
My "baby" is 7 years old and generally in good health. We purchased ASPCA Pet Insurance for peace of mind. In a 6 month period we had to have her treated for an abscess, followed by a fungal skin infection, followed by an ear infection. We had to take her to an Emergency Animal Hospital for the abscess on a weekend so was costly. Fortunately, the ASPCA insurance covered a good portion of her bills. With this insurance I don't have to think about the cost first - I can just take her right away to have her treated. Filing claims and reimbursement are fast and easy. I wouldn't be without this insurance for my "baby".

Worth Every Penny...
When I purchased my Boston Terrier, Elliott, I was told that he came with a 30 day free trial of Trupanion, a pet insurance company. Naturally, I laughed. Who has pet insurance? I have had dogs before and surely never needed this type of service. There is a simple form to fill out, and I filed it away with all the other paperwork received.
I took my puppy in for his first round of shots, and the vet said he was a happy healthy puppy. Great! At the end of the visit, the business manager at the vet came in and asked why I haven't enrolled Elliott with the 30 day free trial of pet insurance. I said, "You've seen his report. He's healthy. There's no reason." The business manager said, it's free. Just do it. It takes two minutes. I had reservations. I was afraid of an automatic enrollment after the 30 day free trial, etc, but I enrolled Elliott anyway. It was easy; fill out this paperwork, and the vet did the rest.
After a few weeks, I came back for his second round of shots, and again, I received another healthy progress report. I remarked to the vet, "Good thing I have pet insurance" and went about my day. A week later Elliott and I were playing, and he vomited. Puppies throw up, but something in my head said, this isn't right. He was lethargic. He lost his spunk. I took him into the vet, and they said something was wrong. They couldn't pin point what was exactly wrong, but they gave him a fluid bump, sent him home, and said call us if he vomits a

Insurance Claim Process
I was very happy with the way Healthy Paws handled the claim process and how they followed up with my issue during the claim filing process and after it was taken care of. Great job, well done.

Great Service, People Who Care
Healthy Paws has always been a delight to deal with, especially when it comes to processing claims. They are quick and efficient but also ask questions about your pet. With our Penelope, they checked in afterwards to see how she was doing. It can be very scary for pet parents so we really appreciated how helpful Healthy Paws was throughout the whole process! I can't tell you how much more comfortable we feel knowing that we can take care of our little furry friend and we have a team supporting us!
