Furkin has better coverage

I’ve had pet insurance with another company for another dog that we had. Furkin has higher coverage so we went with them for our new puppy. The claim was east to do, they followed up with our vet as there was missing information. From date of vet service to pay out was less than a week. Amazing service. Thank you.

Excellent options

Furkin Pet insurance provides excellent options to cover your pets. The prices were as good as or better than any other insurance plans that we investigated (and we looked at quite a few). A pleasant surprise was that the prices after one year actually went down by a very small amount. We have insured two cats and one dog with Furkin and have had a few claims that were processed and paid as promised. There were some glitches in getting all the required information from the vets but it all worked out and the claims were settled within a reasonable timeframe.

Furkin's agent was helpful

Before I committed to Furkin I called to speak to an agent. I did the same for other per insurance providers. Furkin’s agent was knowledgeable and very helpful. The call was about education and no high pressure sales. Other providers were extremely high pressure and didn’t answer all my concerns. After a 20 minute call with Furkin I enrolled my dog Moose in their insurance program. I feel now that I have a peace of mind if my dog gets ill or injured. I hope to never use my policy but it’s there when I need it.

Polite and knowledgeable

The representative was polite and very knowledgeable. As I only have a smartphone and no printer she assured me that she would send paper documents to me by mail.

Monthly Cost

As low as $15.50 per month for cats and $17.28 per month for dogs. Furkin is currently waiving their $35 enrollment fee.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 7 weeks and under 14 years old to enroll. Once enrolled, coverage will continue for as long as the pet remains enrolled.

Waiting Period

For Accidents – 48 Hours For Illnesses – 14 Days For Cruciate Ligament Conditions – 180 Days
