DONT PURCHASE THIS INSURANCE

DONT PURCHASE THIS INSURANCE. Buy lemonade pet insurance if you want an insurance that will cover your pet. I bought figo and learn from my big mistake don't buy it. My puppy broke his leg and I was denied the claim because they stated this was a preexisting condition. REALLY I would think a puppy breaking there leg would be an accident which under there policy is suppose to be covered. You have to wait 6 month for any Orthopedic coverage unless you have your vet sign a waiver within 30 days which I was able to do within 31 days. In my city vets are 1 month booked out so I was able to get it done in 31 days and that was not eligible. Smh This insurance company is a joke, stay away at all cost. I will make sure everyone knows about my experience. Stay away from this company at all cost trust me!

These people are deceitful!

Even though they claim that they are direct pay. All sites show that checked... BEWARE because their loophole is thy say it is done on a case by case basis.. Don't waste your time looking for that statement in their advertising because it is not there!!! Very misleading and very deceitful!!

Fast, Fast Service

This is the FASTEST service ever. The claim is done within a day or 2 after I've submitted the claim and the check is on the way. Great customer service! With that said, I do wish the cost for Figo insurance was less, but again I love the service.

Don’t be fooled by fancy website.

This was my first Experian with this company and I can truly say that by far Figo is the worst of them all. They are fancy and their website and advertising looks fantastic but has absolutely no substance. I have put in Four claims for my 7 months old poppy and I am yet to revive a dime. All the invoices are from my very reputable veterinarian hospital. Every time they want something and an excuse to reject a payout. Today I canceled my insurance and went back to Nationwide that I had for my old dog. At least I know what I am getting. My poppy is only 6 months old and has no pr-existing condition. Eye infection is not a pre/existing condition. I was told to provide breeder information which I did. I was told to provide vaccinations prof which I did. Absolute con.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
