Not much benefits for new puppy owners…

Not much benefits for new puppy owners that needs all vaccine shots, wellness exam fees. And neuter benefits especially for cryptorchid procedures. Paying about $50.00 a month and all I'm receiving back is $90.00 and Ihave already met the maximum benefits for vaccine and wellness check . Probably cheaper to go with another insurance with better benefits or not even have insurance. I'm paying the vet and the insurance for less benefits than expected. I think even if I had purchased all the other extra fees , extra Care package, wellness PLUS, veterinary exam fees and what all the other extra "more" coverage additions, I would just throwing away all that money into nothingness.

Highly recommend!

Figo is great! The app makes insurance easy and you can connect with other pets and their owners. Figo makes it really simple to file a claim and they're very quick about reimbursing for services.

It covered almost everything needed

It covered almost everything needed. I figure over time the services needed will be more spread out so it will be effective. The only negative is the dental cleaning is not a majority of coverage, but it is a decent chunk.

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
