Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

I used Dr Kennedy years back for an in-home euthanasia for my shepherd with severe degenerative myelopathy. He was very kind and gentle, even with my growly dog, and did a great job explaining the process before helping my dog gently pass. It was a rough day, but he made things a bit easier with his kindness. I would absolutely recommend him and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Dr. Kennedy is so kind and gentle for your pet loved ones moving on. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to go the home euthanasia route.

The doctor was kind and sympathetic. The sedative he gave knocked him out, and then came the euthanization. It all seemed to be going well until right before passing he let out an excruciating howl. It was so horrible. The doc said it was a muscle spasm and that he didn't feel a thing. I just have trouble believing that. He let out a howl that we knew. It was a howl of desperation. It was heartbreaking. He was 15, began peeing blood, and in pain. He had been deteriorating rapidly physically. My poor Bubba. I miss him so much that I am crying right now.😣

After our nearly 13 year old Mastiff had a stroke and we couldn't transport him, we needed someone to come to our house. We got an appointment within hours of calling and requesting one. The vet was knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. He calmed our worried minds. Our old boy is close to fully recovered now.
