How to Save on Veterinary Costs at West Olympia Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have a new puppy so it was my first visit there at West Olympia Pet Hospital. The receptionists greeted me with welcoming smiles and were so kind. They took there time with me and helped me because I had a squirmy puppy. The regular vet was gone but the vet he had to replace him was wonderful. She took her time, explained everything to me about the shots, answered all my questions and new a lot about the breed and what to expect.

Dr. Stewart is the best! He has such a natural way, along with extensive training and experience, in treating my cat, Tessie. The staff at West Olympia Pet Hospital is the best too. They all work hard to do a great job effectively.

The vet was excellent. My cat was terrified of being somewhere other than home, so once he was weighed, he hid on the top level of the cat tree in the office. The vet decided to give him his full examination in the tree rather than moving him onto the counter. The tech also gave him his shot there. That's some superior care for a patient. Also, the staff have always been pleasant the multiple times I've been in.

My cat was very ill, and we had never been to WOPH before. They made time to see him even when they were fully booked. They found he had bladder stones and was close to death. They saved his life! We've been taking our 3 cats and dog to them ever since. Everyone there is so nice, and you can tell they really care.

Truly excellent. I brought my cat, Popcorn, in after having a poor experience elsewhere. They've treated me fairly, and my kitty with the utmost kindness. No hidden fees, no upcharges, great communication, wonderful work ethic, and I truly feel like they are doing all they can to help as many people as they can with the huge amount of pets seeking medical attention right now. We're still dealing with Popcorn's medical issue, but for the first time in a year I feel like we're getting somewhere.
