I love the vets and staff at this practice! The staff is always welcoming and accommodating based on my pets age and needs. Dr Kier is hands down the most caring and patient vet I've had the pleasure to work with. He's careful to educate and offer a range of options but also very respectful of the owner's concerns and decisions. I hope to continue to bring my pets to this practice for many years to come. Thank you so much for sharing in the joys and the sadness when it comes to my fur babies.

The staff was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable, they take the time to get to know you and your pet to ensure that you get the appropriate care. The doctors are also awesome, very caring and make sure you understand what they are doing and why. I have four fur babies and they take excellent care of them.

I cannot say enough good things about Independence Vet!! I came with my 1 year old son & our very timid dog. The nurse was so accommodating and let us wait in our car and then came and helped us get our dog out of the car, she was super sweet! Dr. Kier was so nice and knowledgeable. He sat down on the floor with my dog to make him feel more comfortable. Everything is 10x harder with a toddler and they just made my experience so much less stressful & super pleasant! I will be bringing all of our animals here!

My normal vet was unable to see my dog Achilles, who wasn't feeling well. I started calling every veterinarian in the area trying to get him seen. I ended up calling Independence Veterinarian Hospital, and was able to be seen right away. Dr. Johnston was so caring and knowledgeable, he personally followed up on Achilles the next day! He took his time, I never once felt rushed. After receiving such extraordinary care,I have decided to make him our new veterinarian.

After 4 years of different vets trying to stabilize my dog's diabetes. And 4 years of shots 2x a day. Dr. Kerr figured it out. He is now on a decent sugar curve and not peeing all over the house. ( The dog, not the good Dr)
