My mom brought her dog in for an ear infection she was otherwise healthy and normal dog. The vet “ she”cleaned her ears out and my mom heard her dog crying in the back of the vet office really loud. They gave her strong ear infection medicine for ear infections and Told my mom not to come back for 6 weeks. The next thing my moms dog could not walk and her dogs eyes were rolling around she brought her back into this place and they acted dumb founded and said she probably fell down some stairs. She did not as she is always supervised. Long story short she had to be put to sleep and I and my mother and others believe that they did something that caused my moms dog to be paralyzed and be put to sleep/death.

I can't believe it took me this long to write a review. We have been coming here almost 10 years, since our older dog was just a little puppy. Both of my dogs have always been well cared for! You can absolutely tell that the staff here love what they do! From the moment you walk through the door, you and your pet are treated with kindness, patience, and respect. Both my dogs absolutely love coming to the vet. They don't fear it. We have absolutely loved Dr. Jody. My boy, Loki, especially! Even when we moved out of Fredericksburg, we keep bringing them back because we truly feel part of the family. They're an amazing team and I cannot recommend them enough!

As a Fear Free certified animal trainer, it can be challenging for me to find a vet hospital I trust. So, I'm very grateful I found St. Francis Animal Hospital not long after we moved here! I especially appreciate their patience and compassion and how they strive to make the experience as fear free as possible for our pets. For example, I was just in yesterday with my sensitive dog, Aela, to get stitches removed. The technician (Andi, I believe) who removed her stitches was so patient and kind. We look forward to continuing to bring our pets here!
