How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Just Cats Vet Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Friendly and a fresh start to having a trusting feeling. There were plenty of staff, which made me feel things were going well for this new company to me as it was our first visit! I was pioneering for my wife and Kitties to get the best value and love. We'll see if all went well, then the 2nd visit will be even more 😉 Jim

I may be a dog person, but I wouldn’t take my cat anywhere else… yes we drive up from Richmond, why? Because they are totally worth it!!!

This was a great experience! Everyone there was super friendly. They were able to set up a last-minute appointment for my rescued stray that gave birth 4 kittens(that was a surprise). Very helpful answered all of my questions and more, + reasonably priced!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. CRUEL VET. I needed to make a last minute appointment here while traveling, which they granted the night before. However, I was appalled at the way they traumatized my cat by lunging at him and didn’t listen to me when I said he would do much better if they were calmer. My poor baby was howling and screaming and they didn’t even care. They even got a second person and they had huge towels, which I understand they don’t want to get scratched since I was getting a rabies shot, but i was extremely disheartened at the lack of empathy and carrying out the role of “we are the predator” as they said. The vet even tapped me on the knee and said “oh honey I do this all the time” meaning she traumatizes cats and their owners all day every day so it’s been normalized to her. She talked down to me the entire time and I would have asked her not to touch me if i wasn’t sobbing. She asked me to leave the room, saying “you haven’t done this before have you”, since my cat is a 2020 baby. However, I remembered that I actually took him to a vet for a fecal exam last year in Florida while traveling and that vet was sooooo calm and Bennie could tell they went out to get him even while sticking something up his behind. I am warning you please don’t go here if you care about the mental health of your cat and their stress levels. Very unprofessional vet and staff.
