How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Pine Street Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. A and Dr. E saved my little Olive dog's life last year with two extremely difficult surgeries. Dr. A is a superior surgeon; best in the area. Front desk staff are superstars, and tech staff are world class also. Lucky to have this place in Spartanburg.

We have loved all of our interactions with the staff, techs, and doctors. Every person here has been helpful in caring for our 10 1/2 year old dog. The doctors and techs are incredibly knowledgeable. It has been efficient and easy to make appointments as needed. The office has communicated consistently when checkups/check ins are needed (which I really appreciate). For a vet office they are very up to the technological times. I really like the ability to virtually shop for different medicines based on the prescription of the doctor - all through the website!! This is the go to vet for Spartanburg! Also the price is affordable and they do take pet insurance.

Dr.Elliot and Collin and other staff are absolutely amazing!! They helped me to understand fully about my Sassy! I've never had a vet sit down in the floor and explain anything, Dr. Elliot did just that! Collin went out if his way to help save money also! 5 stars from our family!! Thanks for everything!!

I showed up at 7:30 this morning. No appointment. Last night my furbaby broke his nail and was in so much pain. The Dr didn't get in until 8:30 yet the ladies had me do all my paperwork and placed us in an exam room so that we were comfortable. I feel as if the Dr was very informative with the situation and aftercare. Kodi was back to his normal self before we even left the office. EVERYONE was absolutely amazing and were very helpful. Would definitely recommend and since we are new to the area, I think we found our new vet.
