How to Save on Veterinary Costs at West Shore Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

People please be aware! When they send you a link to leave a review it doesn't go to Google, but straight to the business and if they find it too negative they won't publish it! And if you're like me and pull no punches expect to be looking for a new Vet. I was dropped from the practice due to "ill will to the employees". At issue was the articulation I used to describe my cat defending herself from their hands, as I was not allowed to be present during the visit. I do absolutely agree with the notion that I have nothing good to wish this bunch of folks. As they say - to error is human and to forgive is devine! As it turns out their website contains a "meet the team" page... let's take a moment here to praise the Lucifer! Arts and crafts long be proud! Let's just say the rituals performed at our Temple have been rather colorful! Happy second tails folks!

Been taking my dogs here for two years. No complaints. Always great service and never trying to up charge me for things we don't need. Definitely recommend. It's also super helpful that they send emails of when my dogs are due for their shots or else I would struggle to keep track on my own.

Today was my first time visiting WestShore, I must say I am impressed!!! I have a very very timid anxious dog. They gave him time and space for him to come around. They gave him special treats and he actually ate them (he never does that!!!) sat on the floor and let him get comfortable. It meant so much to have your dog treated with such respect of their space. Also didn’t have to wait for my appointment like most places. Highly recommend this cute business.
