How to Save on Veterinary Costs at The Cat Doctor

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I love the Cat Doctor. The staff are super nice and very helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been visiting them for over a year for my two kitties and they are very patient and kind. Thank you to all those who work there, esp Dr Lisa. Highly recommended! Five paws up!

The Vets at The Cat Doctor are the best. She took so much time with our cats and I feel like they got a great exam. She was great at explaining things to us. I think everyone should take their cats to the Cat Doctor.

Very happy with my experience. I went for a second opinion regarding my 3 year old British Long Hair Cat with IBD. The doctor provided me more of a detailed protocol that I wasn't getting anywhere else. I plan on switching my care!

The people there are very nice. They treated my cat very well The vet was knowledgeable and very nice to my baby girl. The prices aren’t bad either, ’ll definitely be back. And they have two really cute cats walking around the office

I've been going to the Cat Doctor for 15 years (with three cats of varying ages) and all experiences have been A+++. First, they are cats-only, which means they understand cats and don't judge if your cat is scared or squirmy (or vocally complaining). The prices are fair compared to other leading area vet hospitals, and the extra compassion they show towards cats nearing the end of life is exactly what is needed - for cats AND their owners. Highly recommended.
