Dr. Geisler is truly the best! We brought our 4 year old standard poodle to her when she was diagnosed with back and hip pain. My poodle is a little shy, but she warmed up to Dr Geisler right away. She has a lovely work space for them to do exercises and she moves at their pace. My girl took a little bit of time to warm up to the acupuncture needles - but Dr Geisler always went at her pace and she would feel so good after. We’ve been going for a few months now, and my dogs walking is much more comfortable and is so much more comfortable in her back. Dr Geisler gave us great exercises to work on at home as well. I highly recommend bringing your dog here!

We took our dog Noshie to Citywide Vet for rehab after her ACL (MCL) surgery, and we had such a great experience working with Dr. Geisler. She took incredible care of Noshie and played a huge role in helping her regain strength and mobility. Over the past three months, the progress has been amazing to watch. Dr. Geisler was not only attentive and compassionate, but also very clear and thorough in explaining the exercises we needed to continue at home. That guidance made a big difference in Noshie’s recovery. The location was also super easy to get to, with plenty of free street parking available. It made visits stress-free, especially early on when Noshie couldn’t manage stairs. There was easy access into the office, which we really appreciated We’re so grateful for the care and expertise we received here. Highly recommend Julie at Citywide Vet for anyone needing rehab for their pet.

Dr. Geisler has been amazing with my 11-year-old cat, Bean. She is compassionate, kind, and patient, and the acupuncture treatments were completely stress-free. We’ve seen a huge improvement in Bean’s mobility and quality of life. She also gave me helpful exercises to do at home to maintain progress. We’re so grateful for her care and support — she’s truly incredible.

I can't say enough about City Wide Veterinary Rehabilitation. Dr. Geisler and her team were phenomenal with our furry family member. After being out of the area for a long time, my family and I moved back about six months ago with our aging English Bulldog, Stevie. We found City Wide on the internet and reached out to them prior to moving across the country. During our cross country drive we had an introductory phone interview with Dr. Geisler. She listened to Stevie's entire story which was long difficult. After Stevie spent the first five years of her life being abused and used for breeding, we ended up rescuing her fresh off of five surgeries she needed to address issues she developed during her original owner's care. Four years later, a mass formed in her groin area. We had the mass removed and after the surgery we experienced a string of issues resulting from the surgery and the post surgery medication. At this point Stevie also started having seizures which were causing additional issues with her being able to control her regular bodily functions. Needless to say, her health was deteriorating quickly. That is when we started seeing Dr. Geisler. She not only listened to Stevie's history, but she got a full breakdown of her health records from the two previous Vets we were seeing. City Wide then prepared a specific regime for Stevie focused on our goals of giving Stevie the best quality of life given her circumstances. We had our first appointment within days of arriving in Philadelphia and Stevie was greeted with open arms and of course treats. Stevie loved going to City Wide and visiting with Dr. Geisler, the treatment plan was transparent and our conversations with Dr. Geisler were open and honest. Dr. Geisler didn't try to up-sell us on anything and she was very clear and thorough in describing the recommended treatments, what they did specifically, and what results we were hoping to see. We could see progress in some of the treatments but ultimately Stevie's ailments proved to be too much and we lost her Stevie several months later. It was one of the hardest things we had to go through as a family. But Dr. Geisler and the City Wide crew were with us through the entire process. They provided recommendations based on her condition and her quality of life and compared them to other experiences they had with dogs in similar situations. City Wide was supportive and helped us through the entire process. Once Stevie passed, we received a beautiful card from Dr. Geisler which offered even more support and reassurance that not only did we do everything we could possibly do for Stevie, but that she was no longer in pain and was smiling down on us from doggy heaven. We will be forever grateful for Dr. Geisler and the City Wide Team.

I started bringing my senior dog, Lucy, to City Wide Vet this past fall after a persistent foot injury slowed her down. Since then, Dr. Geisler and I have navigated several additional setbacks together, always with the shared goal of helping Lucy regain her mobility, strength, balance, and coordination — and ultimately enjoy her city walks again with comfort and ease. I’m so grateful I found Dr. Geisler. She has a genuine passion for rehab work, especially for aging dogs, and it shows in every visit. Lucy was comfortable with her from the very first appointment, and I immediately felt a sense of trust — like we’d known each other a long time. What truly sets Dr. Geisler apart is her holistic approach. She has a background in general practice and is both a DVM and multi-certified in acupuncture, rehabilitation, and chiropractic care. Because of this, we accomplish so much in each session, and Lucy benefits from having one provider who really knows her, rather than coordinating care across multiple specialists. We’re so excited about City Wide Vet’s new permanent space and look forward to many more sessions there. If you’re looking for a compassionate, highly qualified provider to help your pet recover from an injury or navigate the natural changes that come with aging, I can’t recommend Dr. Geisler highly enough.
