The pug may not pleased, but I am so grateful to the care and service I’ve received at Portland Animal Clinic. I began seeing Dr. Castle and the staff there in 2016. I have looked at using other vets closer to my home, and just didn’t get the same vibe. I have never felt judged or put off, regardless of how often I brought my pug into see them over the last few years. They have dealt with my first-time-pug-parent neuroses with grace and kindness. My pets have always been well taken care of and have never been pushed to do unnecessary labs or procedures. They were amazing when I had to put my first cat down in January of this year.

Dr Castle and the staff are amazing! I took my cat in for a variety of reasons and she was always well taken care of. Once your pet become their patient it's so quick and easy to get the appointment which I really appreciate

Dr. Castle is so kind and trustworthy. I feel like she genuinely cares about my dogs and gives treatment recommendations based on their best interests. Her staff are professional and competent. Best vet I’ve ever been to!

We were able to get our new family pet scheduled timely. The Veterinarian and all of their staff was welcoming and thorough in their role of the visit. The Veterinarian was thorough in their exam and helpful with advice for the care of our pet and his transition to our new home from a shelter.

Unfortunately, I have moved from Oregon and am no longer able to utilize the services at Portland Animal Clinic. However, I felt compelled to leave a positive review because since leaving Oregon, I recognize how spoiled I was having access to Dr. Castle and her wonderful team. The staff were always welcoming, kind, and accommodating. The on-site groomer and in house nail trimming appointments were convenient and affordable. Dr. Castle was knowledgeable, transparent, and fair in her clinical practice and the financial cost for services. Further, since leaving Portland I have had difficulties finding a vet or vet clinic that has made me feel equally comfortable and supported in the care for my senior pets.
