Between bringing in a rescue checking for an ID chip to needing instant end of life care for my ailing family dog, the compassionate staff at Dove Lewis have never ceased to assist us through a crisis with kindness. It may take a wait to be seen, but the care our pets receive are worth it.

We called Dove Lewis about helping our sweet girl transition, she was a 12 year old golden retriever, who has lost the ability to stand in the last 24 hours. Instead of driving her the 2.5 hours to her vet, we felt this would be the kindest thing to do, we called Dove Lewis who we had heard great things about. We were quoted one price and then charged double, with no explanation. My husband still can not talk about the experience, because it was so horrible. He has been with our other pets as they crossed over, and he has never said it was horrible. Please do better Dove Lewis. I should have read the reviews.

My spicy little pup was diagnosed with a cancerous mass that put me into a panic. But, I was able to get in to see their surgery team within a week. When talking with the surgeon, I was given clear information and what next steps would be. They were able to fit her in for surgery the SAME DAY. I felt heard and given so much comfort by the technicians working with her. On top of that, I was presented a clear estimate for the surgery, it ended up being even less than they estimated, which tells me there are no secret costs that got snuck in. She is now on the mend and cancer free and I'm so grateful!

This was my first interaction with DoveLewis. Dr. Gardilla and staff are very welcoming and compassionate. I had to euthanize my dog of 14 years. I truly appreciate each & every staff member I had contact with. I highly recommend them if you are in the Portland area.

My lil bb stayed here overnight after a pretty big procedure at VCSS. My experience with them was brief but everyone I spoke to was unbelievably kind and helpful. I appreciate that they checked in upon Chevy’s arrival and they encouraged me to call anytime throughout the night to check in. I trust em!
