I can not say enough about the staff at Lyons vet clinic, they’re very attentive to not only our pets but take the time to reassure us people too. Erin especially is so understanding and will stop & take time to explain & reassure also. I’ve a 6yr old 3.5 lb lil pooch who means the world to me and it’s comforting to have a staff that will take the time to make sure you the pet parent are confident in their treatment.and dr wolfer & Hamilton are simply the best! All our pets have been cared for at Lyons Vet Clinic. Staff are wonderful and we are a family. We have received good solid advice when needed. Additionally, Dr. Hamilton is reassuring to every pet we've had.🌈❣️

I know prices are going up but please hear me out. I have been going to Lyons Veterinary Clinic for around 10 years, they've always been great as well as affordably priced. Just last year we brought in one of our female cats to be spayed the price of the mandatory bloodwork and shots was around $80-$90 her spay bloodwork included came to around $360-$380(I'd have to dig up the paperwork to give exacts amounts)not too bad right? Well last friday we brought in another kitty to get her bloodwork before getting spayed and it came out to $222 and something cents. There was no forewarning on the huge price increase we wanted to puke and of course we paid, but we did also ask for an estimate of the spay knowing that it would more than likely be a high increase as well. It was an estimate of $334.29, so all in all it would be about $557 for a typical spay on a female cat. I'm not sure if the old practice sold and this is a new practice going off of their good name or if they really just hiked prices up that high quickly, but I definitely won't be going here anymore nor will I be recommending them. (ANYTIME anyone has asked for a good affordable vet they've always been my recommendation.)
