How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Vetco Vaccination Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr Jeffrey Kramer, at the Commack location, was so warm and friendly. When I went to Vetco in Commack on October 28, 2024 at 5:45 pm, the doctor was totally obnoxious. I'm sure Vetco can look back and see who he was. The young man who assisted Dr Kramer, Denzel, was so kind and gentle with my 12 year old pup. I'm grateful to them both. 🐶

They make it so quick. And they are gentle with the dogs. So it’s worth it. I will say it doesn’t feel like they honor appointments because if people walk in seconds ahead of you they take the walk in’s even at your appt time. So just be prepared to wait.

Highly recommend Vetco’s services. We have saved so much money, bringing our dogs here for their vaccinations!

My experience was seamless, quick, and easy. I called to let them know I would be arriving a few minutes behind, they were very kind and told me to take my time. The wait to be seen was minimal (I went on a Monday, the wait may be longer on the weekend), and the vets were so courteous. I will be coming back!

From when I checked in until I got the result of my dog's heart work test, everything went just fine. The 2 vets were very gentle with BisKit and made it very easy for both of us. The buy who greeted me first, explained the vaccines that my dog needed and when his rabies shot needed to be renewed in June.
