First of all, I do wanna start off by saying I really don’t leave that many reviews but this company/veterinarian clinic shocked me. I have had pets my entire life and I have just dealt with a very high prices of veterinary care and preventative medicine, They are so loving and and so thorough. I didn’t for one second doubt that she wasn’t in the best care. My kitty was very very sick. They kept her for three nights to make sure that she would pull through. I was extremely shocked when I got the bill. It was about 90% less than I figured in my head. They have a new customer for life. Thank you everyone at Best Care 💖

Update to my review: they do give good care here, but communication is lacking. By telling me my dog needed fluids and monitoring "over night", that leads me to believe someone, anyone, would be around over night or at least late into the evening. They told me I should have read the paperwork which says they are a not a 24/7 facility, but when I signed the paperwork there was no talk of him staying over night, only until 5pm. They should have told me specifics when they called later wanting him to stay, such as "we will monitor him until this time at night, then we will go home and leave him alone with IV fluids, and it will cost roughly $775". Instead they communicated practically nothing. I got nervous about 6:15pm, just after office closing, that I didn't have enough information for this overnight stay, but there is absolutely no way to get in touch with anyone. What if I forgot to tell them something important? I still believe there should be a point of contact if they keep your dog all night, and an update call before they leave for the night. The doctor insisted I should have known my dog would be alone all night "because of the paperwork and the hours are posted on the door". Just because the paperwork and door says they aren't a 24/7 facility could just mean you can't drop off a dog at midnight. Anyway, they treated my dog appropriately, and I am happy with my dog's care, but could communication could use A LOT of imrovement. Original post: They told me my dog needed monitoring and fluids all night to wait for any reactions to eating raisins, but the office closed at 6pm and I have NO after hour contact info, no updates, nothing. It's now after 11pm and I am so upset. This is very unprofessional. I don't even know if anyone is there with him. Not happy at all.

I will never go back to this place! 🤮 They changed my appointment, twice, double booked me with somebody else, then blame me for the "misunderstanding"? They took my emotional support animal, Blondie, without my permission to get an x-ray without my permission? Dr."B" kept interrupting me mid-sentence & would not let me finish a statement! Charged me over $300 & I never really got a chance to address the reason I came in the first place! Do not bring your loved one here, you will be treated like an animal!!!

I’ve been taking my dogs to Best Care for over 10 years. We started at the old location on L Street and then ended up having to take a sooner appt at this location on 120th several years ago and we never left! They are so kind and friendly, from the ladies at the desk who greet your pup by name with a smile, to the techs and the doctors who care for them as if they were their own. Brought my pet here for an emergency, she unfortunately did not make it through the car trip. They allowed us to use a room for a bit, then charged us $75. A normal appt for my normal vet is $40, but to cry in a room here it's $75. That alone said enough about this place for me. I gave them an extra star since I can't vouch for their actual quality of care.
