Where do I start? I was on a road trip to Wilmington to see one of my three daughters- I was an hour out from my destination and my youngest daughter called me in a panic- our dog suffered an unexpected medical crisis- it sounded serious so I contacted Urgent Vet Ballantyne and they were so wonderful- we booked an appointment and I made a u turn and headed back to Charlotte. Before I could get back they met my two daughters at the lobby and checked them in and evaluated our sweet Bella. They kept her comfortable until I could arrive. The doctor and vet techs were honest comforting and made us feel confident in our decision to make our sweet Bella comfortable and help her along in her journey over the rainbow bridge. I would 💯 recommend this emergency vet service and wholeheartedly trust their expertise and intentions- Thank you for all you did for us and for our sweet Bella in her final hours to say goodbye in the most respectful and dignified way possible.

Compassionate and extremely patient with all our questions. I cannot recommend this place enough and not to mention they maintain an immaculate office. All services are explained and detailed before administrating any meds or treatment. We felt like our dog was well cared for

This place was AMAZING!!! I came home from work at 5pm to discover my dog had gotten into the pantry and tore into a 5 lb tub of chocolate protein powder. My vet had already closed, I called Pet Poison control and they researched the ingredients in the powder + my dogs weight and age and the amount I guessed she had eaten. They suggested I proceed to an emergency vet and assigned me a case #. When I got to Urgent Vet, all I had to do was give them the case number and they took her back right away and triaged her. They instituted the proper treatment and we were in and out of there in less than 2 hours. The entire staff was thorough, knowledgeable, and super concerned and friendly! I highly recommend Urgent Vet Ballantyne!!!

Excellent experience! Especially when you cannot get into your Vet after hours. The facility was a super clean, staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. They came out promptly to assess the situation. Bonus, ample parking. My dog is back to being himself after getting a small Lego lodged between his teeth and unable to close his mouth. Hopefully, we will not need the urgent care vet often, but if we do, I will not hesitate to go back. I’m glad this resource is available. Couldn’t have been more pleased!
