How to Save on Veterinary Costs at TotalBond Veterinary Hospital at Paw Creek

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The vets and staff are awesome! Good with the pets and their people! Our last dog was there from beginning to end so I expect our new pup to be a Total Bond pup for life as well. She sure loved her vet. He did everything right for her to feel safe and loved. For a first vet experience she was a happy girl! Highly recommend Dr Spangler and Dr Epstein. Paw of approval!!

We have been taking our dogs and cats to this practice for 20+ years. The doctors and staff have always been very caring and compassionate. The level of care for everything from annual wellness visits to surgeries is excellent. We wouldn’t take our pets anywhere else.

Update: I emailed them due to their response, at their request. I’ve never heard back from them. Sounds about right for their service. A little backstory is we moved and left an amazing vet in Uptown. We found Total Bond where we live now. At first they were great, that was several years ago. Lately they’ve been going down hill. Every time we are in there the front desk always seems so unhappy and not wanting to be there. We have a very old cat and every time we bring her in, there seems to be an issue with the vet. One of the latest is they messed up on ordering the correct blood panels so we were told they would redo them in several weeks, free of charge. When we brought her back in they tried to charge us. We had to get the doctor involved at that point. Well we called to try and get an appointment because we’re coming to the end of life with our cat, woke up and her back legs won’t work and she couldn’t move. They could not fit her in the same day. I called my old vet in uptown and they were full but immediately made accommodations and they understand how hard all of this is. I would think again about bringing your loved animal here, not worth it. Bring your babies to someone who actually cares.
