How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cary Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Love Cary Vet Hospital, and Dr. Katelyn Evenson-Woodard is wonderful! She helped us navigate a long-standing problem with our beloved dog, and we couldn't have asked for more. She was professional, highly knowledgeable, and took her time explaining diagnostic options. When she called with results she took time to answer all of my questions. Thank you Dr. Kate!

We bring both of our cats here. Recently brought one for an annual checkup in a vaccine. The staff are all super sweet. They get you in quickly, are very kind with your pets, and address any needs you might have.

I am happy with the service I received. on 2023-10-10. My cat was not doing well so they opened an appointment to see her almost immediately. Although my cat is extremely shy, they handled appropriately. We have been using Cary Veterinary Hospital since 1982.

I had my first visit with Cary Vet this past week and I am very pleased with them. They were patient and considerate. We had no wait time and the doc spent a good amount of time talking to me about any concerns I had. The vet tech was very helpful in keeping my dog calm and distracted with cheese. And the front desk was very friendly and polite.

Our German Shepherd was clearly in distress. Called first thing Saturday morning, they had us come in, performed an x-ray, and got us in at the ER Vet ASAP for continued care. Really appreciate their quick actions!
