Ripley is always taken care of at Spring Valley East veterinary clinic. The doctors and vet techs and front office staff are always friendly. (Even when I get cranky) She feels sooo much better after visiting Spring Valley East! Had to bring our grand pup (Satya) in for gastro issues. Staff was awesome. Front desk is always wonderful. I got the side eye from the kennel. Grandma shoulda be given some slack. Ripley is very lucky to have Spring Valley Vet techs taking care of her. Always leaves feeling better. Ripley is the queen of shivering EVERY SINGLE TIME we go to Spring Valley East and the clinic’s techs are so understanding. I won’t take her to any other vet because of how good the techs and drs are toward Ripley. Ripley loves her vet techs. They all give her the attention she needs.

I brought him in for allergy shot and they did a dental exam on him. It cost me almost $100 which for most probably isn't a big deal but for me it is since I've been laid off. The staff is great and they always carry him back.

Dr. Skinner and her team saved our pup’s life. Our sweet boy had an 8lb tumor on his spleen! They really care for your pet and give you peace of mind. Kane is now at home and recovering well. Thank you!

DO NOT TRUST Spring Valley Veterinary Hospital If I could give zero stars, I would. This clinic is a disgrace to veterinary medicine. My dog was spayed here. We paid $500 for the procedure and were told everything “went great.” That was a lie. She developed post-surgery complications that were 100% related to the spay. Instead of standing behind their work, this clinic tried to bill us for their own mistakes. They charged: • 💰 $500 for the spay itself • 💰 $180 for a “follow-up visit” where they gave a shot to treat a complication they caused • 💰 $88 for a urinalysis after surgery That’s $768 total — and they acted like we should be grateful to hand it over. When I questioned this, the receptionist Alyssa snapped at me and literally said, “It’s just a business.” That tells you everything you need to know: money first, animals last. Then Amy , the so-called “hospital manager” (not a doctor), flat out refused to let us speak to the veterinarian who performed the surgery and admitted she wouldn’t pass my messages along. She’s not licensed, not medically trained, and yet she’s blocking communication with the actual vet. That’s dangerous and unacceptable. This place is owned by Dr. Skinner, who clearly allows non-medical staff to act as gatekeepers and make medical decisions they have no business making. That is a massive red flag. To make it worse, my daughter picked up the records and found medical information never disclosed to us at the time of surgery, including her own underlying health condition that they ignored. This is deception and malpractice, not care. I am filing formal complaints with the Missouri Veterinary Medical Board, the Missouri Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, and disputing all charges with CareCredit. This clinic should be investigated — and pets and their owners deserve better. 🚨 DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. They will take your money, lie to your face, and hide behind unqualified staff when something goes wrong.

Sought A second opinion for a respiratory issue with my Frenchie. It would be a referral case to a clinic for surgery not performed at Spring Valley. They took the time to explain what was needed, made calls to specific clinics for info from three different clinics, and then called me to discuss all of the information. Above and beyond on a second opinion when I told them if it was a referral process someplace else I would discuss with my established vet. Highly recommend.
