How to Save on Veterinary Costs at City Paws Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I’ve been going to city paws for years. They were recommended to me by the cat rescue I worked with and I never turned back. Everything you want in a vet is here. They will treat you and your creature with dignity and compassion. They don’t guilt you or upsell you. They’re honest but so kind. From treating my senior kitty for his heart condition to helping us gently guide him to the next life, they were compassionate and put my cat and I first and I can never thank them enough for that. Flat out I’d take a bullet for any of the vets in there.

I brought my dog to City Paws for this first time this past week and they are amazing! She saw Dr. Nguy and she was so sweet and amazing with my dog. I am really impressed with the way the vets and techs here take their time and make sure your pet is completely comfortable and have a non-scary experience. They also seem very affordable and were able to get us in a lot faster than other vets in the area.

The most wonderful vet clinic ever. To Dr McCartney, Dr Mattis, Alyssa, Kailey and everyone else who made my pup Henry feel loved and cared for during a very stressful time - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We recently followed our vet, Dr. McCartney, to City Paws. They have taken the BEST care of our Goldens. When my old man was diagnosed with cancer, they did everything they could to keep him comfortable and always followed up with check-in phone calls after our visits. We had to send him across the rainbow bridge yesterday and, as awful as a situation as it is, they were so compassionate and made it as peaceful as possible. I am so grateful to trust my pups with people that exemplify such empathy and love.

The staff is wonderful here. They take excellent care of our baby girl Zelda. They don't try to make you get any procedures that aren't necessary. I would recommend this clinic to everyone.
