How to Save on Veterinary Costs at City Cat Clinic Inc

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Will not be back. My cat has hated this vet from the beginning and over time (4 years) I’ve started to come to the same conclusion. I’m a human doctor and this vet lacks bedside manner with both pet parents and pets. I have a mutual friend who also uses this vet and come to find out this vet missed the fact their girl cat was actually a boy! After he insisted my cat be sedated instead of trying to make him more comfortable I think we’ve both decided it’s best to get care elsewhere.

The receptionist over the phone was very cold and insensitive when we called in Monday morning. She did not use any words of empathy and was very short with us when we are describing our cat's condition. She ended the conversation before we could figure out any meaningful next step. Will definitely not take our cats there.

Dr Nieberg is very wise and wants to share that with the pet parents, so it may seem a little condescending to some, but I am grateful he really takes his time to explain the details of your cat's care. Without a doubt he cares very much for the animals and so does his staff. I just wish he had walk in hours. I trust the City Cat Clinic.

Recently took my cat for her annual and rabies shot. Dr. Nieberg is the best. He’s very knowledgeable. I recommend this place. Edit: we’ve been seeing city cat clinic for more than one year now! Today was our second yearly appt and it went really well. Dr. Nieberg is such a thoughtful vet. Plus: I forgot my wallet and asked them if I could pay via phone once I arrived home and they were completely ok with this!

The person answering the phone was so compassionate and knowledgeable. The clinic could not see my cat immediately, but they were exceptionally helpful. I will likely be taking my cat there for future visits.
